Cash Management Sales Associate

Job Brief

We are seeking to recruit a Cash Management Sales Associate to join our Cash Management Unit.  As a member of Cash Management you are responsible for:

Sales:

  • Conduct ongoing research/analysis to evaluate/identify relevant patterns, opportunities/threats;  
  • Drive cash management product sales efforts; 
  • Coordinate and monitor product placement, launching and growth efforts;  
  • Support and assist client contact;  
  • Provide regular client follow up to ensure client satisfaction; 
  • Own new business leads, search and follow new business segments and target new potential clients; 
  • Assist Head of Cash Management to participate in conferences, exchanges etc. to establish FIMBank’s market presence in the cash management sphere; 
  • Develop industry, country and jurisdiction knowledge;
  • Shadow other Sales relationship officers when they may be absent;  
  • Provide support to the Head of Cash Management as required; 
  • Assisting other relationship managers in term deposits; and
  • Schedule outside visits in order to meet prospective clients.

Administrative:

  • Liaise as necessary to reconcile, compile and maintain sales content/copy;  
  • Draft term-sheets for clients at the direction of senior management (Head of Cash Management);  
  • Execute necessary periodical reviews (such as risk assessment) on all individual and corporate customers that fall under cash management sales;
  • Continuously update rules and procedures in line with departmental changes;  
  • Issue weekly reports to monitor business performance;
  • Draft new product approval documents; and    
  • Perform ongoing transaction monitoring and ensure that all payments are in line with a company’s business.

Requirements:

  • The ideal candidate would have a positive attitude, a strong aptitude to learn, be meticulous, team-oriented and: 
  • A strong attention to detail and organizational skills;  
  • An excellent command in English good communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Be in possession of a Diploma/Certificate in Banking & Finance or equivalent;  
  • Be capable of working effectively in a team environment with minimal supervision; and  
  • Be able to multi-task and prioritize work effectively in line with business exigencies
