The Annual General Meeting of Shareholders of FIMBank plc was convened on 23 April 2009. Mr. Najeeb H M Al-Saleh, Chairman of the FIMBank Group, addressed the Meeting and gave an overview of the performance for the 2008 financial year, about the current market climate and also outlined projects and plans coming up in the future. At the Meeting Mr. Al-Saleh also had the opportunity to announce that the Bond Issue had opened and closed earlier in the day after only 90 minutes -- a strong vote of confidence in the Group’s business model and strategy. The Meeting was well attended and all resolutions were approved by the shareholders.
