This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic team. We are currently in the process of recruiting an IT Shared Services Analyst who, is self-motivated, trustworthy and is capable of prioritising working with minimal supervision.

Job Objective:

In this role, you will form part of the team responsible for the information technology infrastructure that enables and supports the growth of the Group.

Your duties will include

  • Participation in the delivery, administration, operations and troubleshooting of Group enterprise server, virtualisation and data centre infrastructure systems;
  • Providing a point of escalation for first line of support;
  • Developing and maintaining technical documentation; and
  • Working closely with other units of the IT team to deliver and support departmental objectives.

The ideal candidate should have proven technical expertise in several of the following areas:

  • Microsoft infrastructure systems (including Active Directory, Windows, Exchange, SharePoint);
    server, desktop and application virtualization;
  • Cloud services, infrastructures and integration;
  • Data centre facilities including racks, power distribution, protection and cooling;
  • Physical server infrastructure including server blades and enclosures.

Other skills and experience

  • You must have at least 3 years of prior experience working in demanding mission-critical IT environments;
  • You must have a passion for technology, be good team player, showing initiative and commitment;
  • You must be in possession of an IT degree or equivalent qualifications. Relevant vendor certifications will be considered as assets;
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively through firm command of the verbal and written English language.

This role may entail variable hours.
