The presence of hooking frameworks can result in unauthorised code placeholders being placed in front of the authorised code so that the unauthorised code can be executed before the legitimate code is executed. This can cause unexpected behaviour which may be malicious in nature.
How to check if your phone has hooking frameworks present on the system
It is not possible to check if your phone has hooking frameworks operating on your device
What to do if your phone has hooking frameworks present
You should verify the following:
- The FIMBank CAM application has been downloaded from only the following stores: Google Play Store or iOS App Store
- The FIMBank CAM app you downloaded is correctly named and the developer is FIMBank plc
- There are no other apps installed on the mobile app that have been downloaded from a source other than the Google Play Store or the iOS App store. You should remove any such applications
- Try running the FIMBank CAM again and see If this has resolved the issue
