FIMBank Announces Amendments to its Terms and Conditions

FIMBank has updated the FIMBank General Terms and Conditions (the "General Terms"). With effect from the date of this notification, the General Terms have been amended primarily to reflect changes in and ensure compliance with various laws or regulations, such as the revised Central Bank of Malta Directive no. 1 on Payment Services. Other changes were undertaken to simplify terms and conditions, to clarify our respective rights and obligations, and generally to ensure that the terms are consistent with good banking practice. The effective date for these amended General Terms, including the annexed FIMBank Direct Terms and Conditions which are the terms and conditions regulating the Bank's Digital Banking Service, for existing customers of the Bank is Tuesday, 27 November, 2018. We recommend that you read the updated documentation and we will assume that you have accepted the General Terms unless you notify us otherwise in writing within this notice period, in which case you may wish to terminate your agreement with the Bank free of charge.
