Using your FIMBank CAM (Camera Authentication Matrix) App

Before you can use your FIMBank CAM App, your FIMBank Account application must be complete and approved by FIMBank. Once you have submitted all the required documentation, we will process this information. Once your account application is approved, we will send you an SMS notification indicating that you can enrol your FIMBank CAM Application. To enrol your FIMBank CAM App you will need to log in to the FIMBank Direct Digital Banking Application from a desktop browser and follow the online instructions which will consist of the following steps:

1)      Setting of Marketing Preferences

2)      Scanning of Enrolment Matrix

3)      Input Numeric Code of Enrolment Matrix

4)      Setting of FIMBank CAM App Password

5)      Scanning of Onscreen Matrix

6)      Input Numeric Code of Onscreen Matrix

7)      Confirm Details Step

8)      Successful Completion of Enrolment

 

1)      Setting of Marketing Preferences

During this stage of the process you will be required to select your marketing preferences. This will allow FIMBank to better align the services offered to your personal requirements.

2)      Scanning of Enrolment Matrix

For this step you will need to make reference to the letter which contains the Enrolment Matrix. Open the FIMBank CAM App and click on “Scan Enrolment Matrix”. Use your smart device camera to scan the Enrolment Matrix printed on the letter by hovering your camera over it. The phone will automatically reveal an eleven character Numeric Code. This may take a few seconds to appear. 

3)      Input Numeric Code of Enrolment Matrix

You will need to input this into FIMBank Direct Digital Banking platform at the right hand side field. Once you have input this, you will need to click on “NEXT STEP”.

4)      Setting of FIMBank CAM App Password

You will be required to set a Password for the FIMBank CAM App.

5)      Scanning of Onscreen Matrix

An Onscreen Matrix, containing a different Numeric Code than the previous, will then be displayed on your desktop. You will need to scan the Onscreen Matrix via the “Scan Onscreen Matrix” button on the FIMBank CAM App.  This will present you with another 6 digit code which you will again need to input into the FIMBank Direct Digital Banking platform. The Matrix will be presented below the instructions.

6)      Input Numeric Code of Onscreen Matrix

You will need to input the six digit Numeric Code in the right hand side field. You will then need to click “NEXT STEP”.

7)      Confirm Details

Here you will see a summary of the completed steps. You will need to click “Confirm and Log in”.

8)      Successful Completion of Enrolment

You now have full access to FIMBank Direct with the capacity to complete transactions. A message will indicate that you have successfully completed the enrolment of your FIMBank Direct mobile token and you will then be logged out of the system. You will also receive an SMS message confirming that the mobile token has been successfully enrolled. Kindly contact FIMBank Helpdesk if you encounter any issues.

Logging in from Desktop Browser

a)      After entering your Username, Password and Captcha you will be presented with an  Onscreen Matrix

b)      Open the FIMBank CAM App and click “Scan Matrix”

c)       Scan the Onscreen Matrix by hovering the camera of the phone over it and input the Numeric Code revealed

d)      Input the response code generated into FIMBank Direct Digital Banking platform and click Proceed

You should now be logged in.

 

Approving transactions from Desktop browser

a)      After creating a transaction on the FIMBank Direct Digital Banking Application you will be presented with an Onscreen Matrix

b)      Open the FIMBank CAM App and click “Scan Matrix”

c)       Scan the Onscreen Matrix by hovering the camera of the phone over it and input your FIMBank CAM App Password

d)      Input the Numeric code generated into FIMBank Direct Digital Banking platform and click “Proceed”

Your transaction should now be approved.
