FIMBank launches Instant Outward SEPA Payments

FIMBank is pleased to announce that, effective Sunday, 5^th October 2025, all payments up to €100,000 made to any SEPA country through the Instant Outward Payments Service will be processed within seconds via the Bank’s digital platform, FIMBank Direct. FIMBank customers have been able to receive instant SEPA inward payments since January 2025. The introduction of Euro Instant Payments ensures that customers can process transfers almost instantaneously. There are no additional charges for using the Instant Outward Payments Service beyond those already applicable to standard SEPA Credit Transfers. Customers can conveniently initiate instant payments through FIMBank Direct, accessible via the Bank’s secure online platform.

All third-party SEPA payment services offered by FIMBank, including SEPA Instant Payments, are supported by a built-in Verification of Payee (VoP) feature. While not foolproof, this system is designed to help identify mismatches between the beneficiary’s name and IBAN, reducing the risk of misdirected or fraudulent payments. This milestone supports FIMBank’s ongoing commitment to delivering innovative, customer-focused solutions, enhancing the banking experience through secure, reliable, and modern payment options.
